THE PLOT:
Years has passed since Andre's death and Philippe's mother has past away, Philippe is now all grown up and picked up on his
father's research. How is a good question considering Andre burned all his notes. But Philippe has a partner who secretly
working for a kingpin hiding out at the mortuary.
When Philippe discovers the truth about his so called friend he's knocked out and placed in the teleporter chamber with
a fly. Now like his father Philippe has become part man and part insect but this time is was no accident and Philippe is
after a little payback while his uncle tries to find a way to save him.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Now that's the only major problem I have with this movie. How was Philippe able to follow so closely in his father's footsteps
to build the chambers so exact to the first movie when Andre burned all his notes so no one could follow in his footsteps.
I think they rushed this sequel, it was too soon and they should have waited for the technology and story to catch up. 7
STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd but the story mistake wasn't the only mistake. If you ask me I think the Fly mask was perfect in the movie
but they rushed the technology and the head was way too big for the actor to wear. It bordered on goofy. I don't know what
they had in the first draft but I think the cheap studio exec who demanded a re-write might have stuck to the first draft.
It might have made it better. 7 STARS as well.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ VINCENT PRICE (Contract or no contract, a lesser actor would have walked after any re-writes he or disapproved of.)
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (Cool, but it could have been better.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- STORY MISTAKE (It's hard to swallow that Philippe was able to follow so closely to his father's original designs and schematics
without his father's research.)
- MONSTER HEAD (Way, way too big.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on the first movie, I can't recommend this lesser sequel.)
