He builds a new body and animates it, but once again the bumbling sidekick Igor gets the wrong brain and Frederick accidentally creates a dangerous monster or is he?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

A true classic in every sense of the word. Interesting side note the equipment and sets are from the 1935 BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN and I hear the props were in delicate condition when they found it. It's an amazing feet that they got that old stuff to work as well as it did. The story works, the characters worked. One of Mel Brooks finest hours. 10 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I have to agree, up to a point. That's right it's not quite a perfect film, it dragged on at points, got somewhat draggy. But a near perfect movie. A classic yes, perfect, no. 9 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ STORY (The story was almost perfect.)
+ CHARACTERS (The characters were well written.)
+ FUNNY (It was funny.)
+ SCARY (It was scary.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ BLACK AND WHITE (Making it look like classic horror was brilliant.)
+ OLD EQUIPMENT (Getting that old BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN equipment to work, brilliant.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- SLOW AT TIMES (VOLTRON thought it lagged at times.)

...AND FINALLY...

- FAN BASED (If you aren't a fan of Mel Brooks or of the Frankenstein films, then this isn't for you.)
